Author Guidelines

For all submissions with or without illustrations, contributors must submit their contribution formatted ready for publication using the Microsoft Word template provided. When using the template the embedded styles must be used e.g. Heading 1,2,3, Quotation, Caption etc. Any images should also be embedded in the document in the desired location as well as supplied separately.

Please note, submissions that do not adhere to these requirements will be returned unpublished.

The following general guidelines apply to all submissions:

Title: Titles for submissions are mandatory

Biographical Information: You must provide the names, affiliations, and email addresses of all authors.

Abstact: Abstracts of 100-150 words must be provided.

Formatting: The embedded styles within the supplied template must be used for all formatting.  Please do not change font types, or size directly.

Footnotes, Endnotes, References and Bibliographies: Footnotes should be used sparingly and numbered consecutively through the article. References should conform to the Harvard style.  Footnotes should not be used for references. The Harvard reference style does vary and we are happy to accept any consistent format.  Endnotes and Bibliographies are not accepted.

Permissions: It is the responsibility of contributors to obtain the necessary permissions for reproducing work other than their own.

Images: It is in the author's interest to provide the highest quality figure format possible. Figures must be included in the correct locations in submissions using the template provided.  All figures must be numbered in the order in which they appear in the paper (e.g. Figure 1, Figure 2). In multi-part figures, each part should be labelled (e.g. Figure 1(a), Figure 1(b)).  Figure captions should appear in the appropriate location in the template.
